As a Vitiligo model in South Africa, i always intend to align my work with brand collaborations the match the same values as my personal brand Spotted Beauty & main brand B Glam SA. One of my most recent projects i’m so madly in-love with is the South African BMW X2 ad.

Producer Will Nicholson from Arcade content approached us to work on the new ad and which would be directed by Kyle Lewis, one of South Africa’s most acclaimed music video directors. Kyle’s instinct and flair for African youth culture has been in demand with everyone from Absolut to Nike to Volkswagen over the last three-and-a-half years. Recent advertising accolades include a Gold Loerie and Silver Bookmark and Apex awards.

The advert aim’s to convey BMW’s sporty crossover option to SA’s premium car buyers by having young, diverse, game changing influential individuals who defy societies ideologies of normal, creative, innovative and beautiful. Myself Boitumelo Rametsi & model partner Tevin Fynn are more than honoured to be part of the evolution of culture being ungovernable.
